XXXII. Dominica quarta post festum Trinitatis, Oratio. Estote misericordes sicut et Pater misericors est ¹. Domine Jesu Christe, qui propter communem utilitatem, propter damnum singularitatis vitandum, et propter infirmitatem nostram sublevandam, docuisti nos imitari misericordiam Patris tui, quae maxime assimilat nos Deo, quae excellit in omnibus operibus ejus, quam praecipue requirit a nobis, quae nobis est via ad misericordiam ipsius, et quae reddetur in praemium: ejice ab oculo intentionis trabem ambitionis cujuslibet peccati mortalis, ne per caecitatem humani judicii cadamus in foveam et laqueum diaboli, sed potius in misericordia qua mensi fuerimus proximis remetiatur et nobis secundum genus et qualitatem, non secundum defectus proximi nostri, incommensurabilem proportionem. Amen.

XXXII. Fourth Sunday after the Feast of Trinity, Prayer. Be merciful, just as the Father also is merciful ¹. Lord Jesus Christ, who, because of the common usefulness, because the harm of singularity must be avoided, and because our weakness must be lifted up, taught us to imitate the mercy of your Father, which most greatly assimilates us to God, which excels in all his works, which he especially requires from us, which is for us the way to his mercy, and which will be rendered as reward: cast out from the eye of intention the beam of the ambition of any mortal sin, lest through blindness of human judgment we fall into the pit and snare of the devil, but rather, in the mercy by which we shall have measured to neighbors, may there be measured back also to us, according to kind and quality, not according to the defects of our neighbor, an incommensurable proportion. Amen.
