XIX. In festo sancto Paschae, Oratio. Maria Magdalene ¹. Domine Jesu Christe, fac me turrim fortitudinis contra adversarium, supplantatorem vitiorum meorum, et reconciliatorem peccatorum meorum: ut summa festinatione cessans a peccato, comparatis aromatibus compassionis in affectu, consolationis in verbo, pietatis et miserationis in opere, orto jam sole gratiae veniam ungere poenitentem. Revolve tu nobis lapidem pravae consuetudinis, ab ostio initio conversationis sanctae: ut juvenis novae vitae sedens a dextris, quiescens in bonis operibus, coopertus candore virtutum post initium conversationis, post crucem afflictionis admirantibus cunctis, non sit jacens in pulvere poenitentiae, sed resurgens per opera justitiae demonstretur aliis in exemplum. Et procedant tam majores quam minores in Galilaeam, de culpa in gratiam, de virtute in virtutem; ibique videatur in revelatione contemplationis, et in rota purae actionis. Amen.

XIX. On the Holy Feast of Easter, Prayer. Mary Magdalene ¹. Lord Jesus Christ, make me a tower of strength against the adversary, a supplanter of my vices, and a reconciler concerning my sins, so that, ceasing from sin with the greatest haste, with the spices of compassion in affection, of consolation in speech, of piety and pity in work having been prepared, when the sun of grace has now risen, I may come as a penitent to anoint. Roll back for us the stone of perverse custom from the door, the beginning of holy way of life, so that the young man of new life, sitting at the right hand, resting in good works, covered with the whiteness of virtues after the beginning of way of life, after the cross of affliction, while all marvel, may not be lying in the dust of penitence, but, rising again through works of justice, may be shown to others as an example. And let both the greater and the lesser proceed into Galilee, from fault into grace, from virtue into virtue; and there may he be seen in the revelation of contemplation, and in the wheel of pure action. Amen.
