XV. Dominica tertia in Quadragesima, Oratio. Erat Jesus ejiciens daemonium, etc. ¹. Domine Jesu Christe, ejice a me daemonium: prudentiam mundi, carnis, et diaboli, quae reddunt mutum a laude Dei, et a confessione peccati. O vera virtus, ejice daemonium per contritionem. O Verbum Patris, sana mutum per confessionem. O intima lux, illumina caecum per satisfactionem: ut fortis armatus me in pace non possideat, universa arma ejus, vires scilicet animae meae interiores, et sensus exteriores in obsequium tuum converte: exsicca me ab amore concupiscentiae: ut veniens quietem non inveniat in me: munda me scopis confessorum et orna virtutibus, ut revertens vacantem non inveniat, ne spiritualibus vitiis me supplantans iterato deterius peccare faciat: fac me per frequentem auditum ventrem portantem laudare, et per custodiam boni operis ubera nutrientia verbo Dei sugere. Amen.

XV. Third Sunday in Lent, Prayer. Jesus was casting out a demon, etc. ¹. Lord Jesus Christ, cast out from me the demon: the prudence of the world, of the flesh, and of the devil, which make one mute from the praise of God and from the confession of sin. O true virtue, cast out the demon through contrition. O Word of the Father, heal the mute one through confession. O inmost light, enlighten the blind one through satisfaction, so that the strong armed one may not possess me in peace; turn all his arms, namely the interior powers of my soul and the exterior senses, to your service. Dry me out from the love of concupiscence, so that when he comes he may not find rest in me; cleanse me with the brooms of confessors and adorn me with virtues, so that when he returns he may not find me vacant, lest, supplanting me with spiritual vices, he make me sin again more badly. Make me, through frequent hearing, praise the womb bearing, and through guardianship of good work suck the breasts nursing with the word of God. Amen.
